As a rodeo queen, young women strive to promote the America’s number one sport: rodeo. Each young lady is a goodwill ambassdor for the sport and the association she represents. Rodeo queens serve as a link between rodeo competitors, rodeo committees, sponsors, media, and the fans—educating people about the role of rodeo and agriculture and the western way of life. It is a voluntary position that depends to a large extent on donations and sponsorships. It is necessary to have financial support from businesses and individuals throughout the state in order to make the most of her year.
Being a rodeo queen has numerous advantages for each young woman. She may: acquire a greater understanding of the world around her, improve self-esteem and self confidence, gain valuable life skills, and gain opportunities for advancement in her personal and professional life.
With this in mind, The Queen’s Corral is a website blog geared at helping rodeo queens of all ages gain helpful information they can use in order to make the best of their rodeo queen years!
