All around cowboy and PRCA Hall of Famer Ty Murray married his long time girlfriend and popular singer/songwriter Jewel over the weekend (8/9/08).  The wedding was unannounced and happened during their vacation in the Bahamas.  Murray and Jewel have been dating for about 10 years and living on Murray’s ranch in Stephensville, TX.  They have been a popular couple making appearances together on CMT’s Celebrity Bull Riding and appearing together in some of Jewel’s music videos.

Ty Murray, sometimes called the “King of Cowboys.”  Holds the record for most World Champion All-Around titles at seven titles.  I had the opportunity to meet Ty at the National Finals Rodeo during the MRA pageant in 2007; his mom, Joy Murray, was a judge.  You can read more about Ty at www.prorodeo.com or brush up on all of his stats in the PRCA Media Guide.
