Read below an invitation to the OTO Dude Ranch:

Let me introduce myself. I am a traveling Dutch oven cook from Utah that spends most of my time in Montana cooking for the Forest Service and Hunting & Fishing shows. I have been fortunate enough for the last 12 years to cook for the restoration work on the OTO Dude Ranch 10 miles north of Gardiner, Montana. It was the first licensed Dude Ranch in Montana. The man who made it all happen was Dick Randall and the story can be read in the book called “Music, Saddles and Flapjacks” about the historic ranch and how his life began in 1898 as a Dude Rancher. . . . . . .

. . . . We are hosting an OPEN HOUSE at the OTO RANCH on JULY 25, 2009. The family members and I would sure like for all of you to join with us. Come and hear the tales of Dick Randall. The restoration is still underway thanks to “Friends of the OTO”.

The OTO RANCH is located at the 10-mile marker north of Gardiner where there will be Cowboy Poets, Artists, Story Telling, Historic Slide Show, Wilderness Survival Technique demonstrations, “Music, Flapjacks and Saddles” and good food.

Join us for a great time!!

Regards, Colleen
