No matter what portion of the pageant you are in you never know what kind of questions the judges may throw at you.  If you are in a PRCA sanctioned pageant chances are good that you will be asked about world records, current title holders, and event knowledge.  How do you study for these type of questions?  Contact the PRCA and order a media guide first and foremost.  The PRCA media guide will be the best reference for you throughout your studying.  Next, make sure you have an up-to-date rule book.  Every association has one and rules change from year to year.  Read through the events and general rules.  The third thing you need to have is a subscription to PSN - ProRodeo Sports News.  This is a published magazine that will keep you updated monthly about what is going on in the PRCA.  The PSN is a gold mine for information that will likely come up in horsemanship interviews, impromptu questions, and even personality interviews.  Look through some of the questions I have provided as a judge.  I have heard them come up in more than one pageant.  I have provided a few of the answers.  The rest of the answers are available through the resources I have mentioned.  Good luck and study hard!
