As a rodeo queen it is sometimes difficult to answer those political questions that are inevitable.  On one hand you want to say exactly how you feel (and that may be a pretty strong feeling toward or against something) but on the other hand, you don’t want to offend anyone or say the wrong thing to the wrong judge.  The best way to tackle this situation is to be educated on both sides of the topic.  A good way to approach something that is controversial is “While I understand ______________________, I feel _______________ make more sense because _______________________,” or something similiar to that.  It shows you know both sides and aren’t close minded about anything. 

The presidential election is coming up in November (the Tuesday after the first Monday), make sure you are registered to vote!  I will try be posting information about both candidates and/or their vice presidents.
